summary: Dinner complete with fortune cookies after. What could go wrong?

It hadn't been as bad as Dawn thought.
Could have been better... naturally. Hadn't been any hexing... yet. She hadn't had to test out her terribly painful groin punches either. She was getting excellent at groin punches.
She surveyed the table. Dawn, of course, had brought her new friends Ginny and Luna. She had not wanted to be alone, even in a public place, with Angel's son. He had brought, of all people, Malfoy and Zabini. Two of the biggest jerks ever. Next to Connor himself. She couldn't wait until dinner was complete. Dawn knew Ginny and Luna felt the same. Ginny had remarked that her brothers would have fits if they knew who she was with tonight.
Dawn quickly snatched a fortune cookie as the waitress placed them on the table with the check. She cracked it and stuffed part in her mouth as she read.
You have many gifts... and they should all be returned.
Dawn gasped.
"What?" Connor asked before grabbing the slip of paper. His brow furrowed right before the table jerked a bit, and Malfoy howled in pain.
Dawn blinked.
"I thought I warned you to behave." Connor snapped at Draco.
"What're you on about, you bloody Neanderthal?"
"Don't think I didn't see your wand."
