Xander had hauled the Chevy home, and was trying to get the engine started.
He was failing miserably. The old 216 just didn’t want to fire.
He’d even managed to get Faith and one of the slayers to help him. Charlotte was mechanically inclined, and Faith’d worked on motorcycles when she’d been younger.
“It needs new plugs and wires,” Faith declared. “And a Condenser... Points... Rotor...”
Charlotte sighed heavily. “I wish we had a real mechanic.” Realizing what she’d just said, her eyes went wide and she clapped her hands over her mouth.
Xander and Faith’s heads whipped around and they glared at the newbie.
“Faith,” Xander asked the older slayer while still maintaining his withering look, “Did Charlotte just say the W word?”
Faith did the same. “Sure did.”
“Didn’t we tell everyone never to use the W word?”
“Yeah, Xan, we did.”
“Is that why there are two naked people on the floor?”
“They’re not totally, naked, Yo. The chick’s still got her socks on.”
It was at this point that the couple on the floor realized that they were someplace new.
The guy looked around and said, “Wuh duh ma huh ta duh fung-kwong duh wai-shung doh!”

After they’d gotten the naked people some clothes, Willow popped in to take a gander at their guests. After deciding that they weren’t a threat and determining where they were from, she went off to figure out how to send them back.
For their parts, Kaylee and Simon were amazed that they were on what they called Earth-that-was. In the past, no less.
While they were waiting, Kaylee had been roped into helping with the Chevy.
“Everything’s lookin’ good’n’ shiny here. I just ain’t got any idea what might be wrong ‘cept for the carburetor.”
“I was afraid of that.”
