A Night Off In Vegas
Apr. 25th, 2004 11:06 amI'm going to try absolutely to write non-Harry Potter crossovers without Willow or Dawn.
Andrew's on a working vacation to Las Vegas.

Disclaimer: Andrew belongs to Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy. Sara Sidle belongs to Anthiny Zuiker and Jerry Bruckheimer.
Challenge: Bad Trips, Vacations, Days Off. (I think I've included all of them.)
Andrew ground his teeth. This was supposed to be a vacation. And his day off. As oxymoronic as a working vacation was, didn’t the powers at least understand the concept of a day off?
“Sir, if you’re able, could you answer a few questions, please?”
Andrew looked up at the voice. It belonged to a competent woman with a gorgeous smile. He grimaced. She was much too much older than him to make up for the crime scene that had been the Wondrous Bookshop.
“I don’t talk to the police,” Andrew said, as politely as he could.
“I’m not the police,” she said. “Sara Sidle, Crime Scene Investigation.”
“Oh, okay,” Andrew said. He eyed the scene quickly, trying to work out how easily he could get away from this not-a-cop. But it was also policy not to use magic except in extreme and official circumstances. Unless she asked what he thought the blue power was, he couldn’t do anything.
“A friend recommended the shop,” Andrew explained. “I’m here on business and thought I’d check it out. It looked like this when I arrived, just before you did.”
She didn’t look like she believed him. Andrew began working out his story.
