Title: Wizard-World Vacation

Summary: The three original Scoobies’s idea of a vacation.

“So why’d you agree to help? Tonks asked.

“We need a vacation.” Buffy said.

“You consider joining a war against an evil wizard a vacation.” Snape sneered making his opinion about the three Americans clear.

“Darn tootin’ it was either this or dealing with a hundred hormonally excited slayers and quarterly apocalypses.” Willow stated.

Xander nodded. “One insane Moldywart wizard is a vacation compared to that.”

“You’re insane.” Both Snape and Tonks replied.

“No our lives are insane; we learned to go with the flow.” Willow said.

“When it suits us anyway.” Buffy interjected.

“What was Albus thinking?” Snape muttered.


Title: Vacation from Monotony

Summary: Angel invites some friends and their significant others to LA. [can fit into Barag universe]

Willow was relaxing on the couch reading an e-mail from Angel.

“What does Monsieur Angelus have to say ma roulette de charme?” Asher asked.

“Yeah what’d Peaches say? Spike asked between puffs of his cigarette.

“Dawn playfully smacked Spike upside the head. “His name’s Angel.”

“An apocalypse. He wants Dawn, Spike and myself to assist him. We can bring our significant others.”

Jason’s eyes widened at the word apocalypse.

“Cool.” Dawn said. “Sounds like a vacation from the monotony of St. Louis.”

“Vacation?” Jason yelped.

“Monotony?” Asher questioned.

“We’re used to more excitement. St. Louis is fairly tame to us.”


Title: Feudal Vacation

Summary: The Scooby Gang end up in Feudal Japan.

Inuyasha’s ears perked up as he heard voices from the well. He drew tetsiga.

“What’s wrong?” Kagome asked.

Inuyasha pointed to the well. “Something’s in there.” He growled.

Several minutes later Faith, Buffy, Dawn, Willow, Xander and Andrew climbed out of the well. When they saw the armed humans and demons in fighting stances, they also prepared for a fight.

“Why can’t we ever have a normal vacation?” Xander asked gripping his ax. “Sucked into a well so not in the guidebook.”

“Don’t know Xander, I guess we can leave the hellmouth’s influence but it won’t leave use.” Willow said.

I loved them both - the Scoobie gang attitude to holidays is great... and, yes, I think in someways they would see St. Louis as fairly tame. Good work.
