It was a full moon last night.

This morning, it all flooded back. The joy of racing across the woods, blood racing, heart pounding, as you swing through the brush laughing. At one with yourself, lost in the moment, free and uncontrolled.

Playing tag with your friend under the bright moon light.

Oz fastens his clothing and steps out onto the road. Logan’s already there, waiting on his motorcycle, cigar in mouth. “Logan,” he nods.

Wolverine took one last draw on his cigar as Oz mounted the bike behind him.

Raising one brow, Wolverine smiles. “Same time next month, kid?”
