Michael didn’t ask why the cookies Dawn brought out on a little plate were weird shaped, green, with two dark spots on them. They sort of looked familiar, though.

“They’re good,” he offered, popping a cookie into his mouth.

Dawn frowned. Not the reaction he was going for. She crossed her arms, glared at him, looked to the plate, then glared at him again.

Sighing, sure that he would never understand women, Michael looked at the cookies again.

Damn.

They were alien-shaped.

He looked up, surprised and slightly fearful.

“Were you ever going to tell me that little secret, Mikey?”

She saw them in a catalog.

So it was a catalog that no good girl should have been looking through. Chloe Sullivan was anything but a good girl when she wanted to be.

And how she wanted to be a not-good-girl with Xander. Kind, funny. He was perfect.

Complete with the ‘will not rush her’ motto.

Well, damnit. She wasn’t feeling rushed.

As he finished his dinner and reached for the fortune cookie she had left next to his plate, Chloe took a breath.

Adult Fortunes, as advertised.

By the look on his face, her fortune was definitely looking up.

It was Dawn’s idea, though she got the Gryffindors to go with it easily. Vengeance for pranks the Slytherins had been playing.

Polyjuice cookies.

Polyjuice made with bits of animal hair. Dog. Cat. Some llama Willow sent her from the Cleveland zoo.

Crabbe and Goyle were the only ones stupid enough to go for it. Too dumb to realize that the bitter, vile taste of the cookies wasn’t planned.

Right up to the point they’d started morphing into animal-Slytherin hybrids.

Dawn laughed and secured the pictures to the letter, sending the owl flying off.

Willow was going to love this.

The Roswell drabble is too funny- in a very good way. So classic Michael.

Chloe was charming as ever, and I like her directness.

Dawn would be perfectly suited for a prank war. And she'd win.

In a bit of a "Dawn" mood, ay? Not that I mind. I really like "Cookie Secrets". Being a horrid Mikey G fan might have something to do with that though, and for some reason the bit about the llama hair from the zoo cracked me up.
