Title: Marple’s Macaroons
Word Count: 100
Fandom: Miss Marple
Challenge: #003 – Cookies
Note: I took some liberties. I’m not sure how Miss Marple got to be to her ripe old age, but she did.
Disclaimer: I don't own this stuff. Joss Whedon and Paramount do. No cash made, just fun had. I promise I won't break 'em, and I'll put 'em back in the case when I'm done.

“Here you go, Dearie.”

Faith looked up at the elderly Englishwoman who was currently holding a platter of cookies.

“Thanks, Aunt Jane.”

Giles’ maternal Aunt – Faith wasn’t exactly sure how old the woman was, or which of Jeeves’ ancestors she was siblings with – had been adopted by everyone who worked for the new council. Everyone called her “Aunt Jane”.

She spent her time working with the new Watcher trainees and “Helping” Andrew in the kitchen.

She taught the newbies Latin and Classical Greek

Aunt Jane also solved the occasional mystery.

(And got in Andrew’s way. A lot.)

Hence the cookies.

Very clever. I loved Miss Marple as a youngster.
