Larry grinned as he watched Jean-Paul left Buffy Summers and walked towards him. His suspicions had been confirmed when he saw the Canadian exchange student turn Summers down for a date. Every male, except for him, in Sunnydale High had been lusting after Summers this year.

"Hey J-P, what's up?" Larry grinned as the other boy stood in front of him.

Jean-Paul grinned at Larry in return, then sighed. "It's the *girls* here. I don't show them the least bit of interest, but they continue to throw themselves at me."

"Well, some of it has to do with your sexy accent. Add that to the fact that everyone assumes your straight, and the girls hit on you."

Jean-Paul looked up into Larry's eyes. "What makes you think that I'm not straight?"

"Call it a hunch."

"And how did you come by this hunch Larry? What do you plan to do now?"

"Well, my hunch was based on like calling to like. And for what I plan to do…"

Larry brought Jean-Paul's face to his. Their lips met and Larry felt a tingle run down his spine. He knew with that first kiss that he'd fallen in love with Jean-Paul Beaubier.
