Title: Starting Over. Again.
Word Count: 200
Fandom: Star Trek (First Contact)
Challenge: #000
Disclaimer: I don't own this stuff. Joss Whedon and Paramount do. No cash made, just fun had. I promise I won't break 'em, and I'll put 'em back in the case when I'm
done.

Willow sighed.

She’d done this so many times before, and she was sick of it. She hated starting over.

Nobody noticed anything until about ten years after the mass calling. She hadn’t aged. None of the slayers had, either, but Xander and Andrew just wrote that off as “Wolverine Syndrome” that was caused by a slayer’s advanced super-healing. When she thought about it, she hadn’t been injured – at all – nor had she been ill since that day.

Now it was sixty years later, and she’d had to change her identity three times because people didn’t believe that she was as old as she was. The Nuclear war that had been “World War Three” had actually been a blessing in disguise. The Electromagnetic Pulses from the nukes had wiped out most of the computer systems on the planet, and she was free to adjust her birthdate as necessary without too many raised eyebrows.

She’d even gone back to school. She now had a masters degrees in aerospace and theoretical physics, which were necessary for her new job. She’d thought he’d been crazy. It seemed like a long shot, but maybe – just maybe – Zephram Cochrane could pull this warp drive thing off.

That was great... you don't see too many Star Trek crossovers about, but this one really worked. :)
