“My pleasure, Caridad.” Fenton replied while looking down at his feet. “Though I feared that the Rooks might have destroyed the evening for you.”
“Not hardly,” Caridad shook her head in wry amusement. “I don’t think anything could have ruined an evening when I gat the chance to dance with you.”
“Um, I’m glad to hear that.” Fenton said, while he blushed. “Though it is getting late, I should get going.”
“Aren’t you forgetting something Fenton? Like a goodnight kiss?” Caridad replied, while moving closer to Fenton.
