Oz wasn’t sure where he was. He had been somewhere far away from all prey. He had let his wolf out to play.

Now he was more aware than he should be.

There was a clean man standing in front of him, looking confused. He tilted his head. “I wish to speak to you, Daniel Osbourne.”

Oz tilted his head in an echo of the… not-man who was not scared of him. Oz smelled no fear, at all. His mouth would not be able to form words at this moment.

The man flexed and Oz saw beautiful black wings.
