“Gotta time out. Max, uh, why don’t you go to the bathroom if you need to?”

“Thanks Suki, I’m okay.”

“Go to the bathroom!”

Caridad laughed to herself as she watched Suki Sato grab Dan Maxwell’s headset microphone. She actually laughed out loud when Sato started trying to give Ian Archer some vague hints about something, using Maxwell‘s voice. Caridad figured it had something to do with Gabe Forrest and CJ Ward, since neither was at this particular Buffer game. She didn’t really care either since those four had little to do with the mission the Council gave to her.

Caridad smirked as she stood at the podium after having pushed Gabe Forrest out of the way. “Thank you Forrest for your very patriotic speech. In fact, I’m probally ready to fight the Imperial Navy in the Pacific.”

“Hey that’s not…”

“Sorry Forrest,” Caridad interrupted. “You have to admit though, you’re entire speech was stolen one-liners from past US Presidents. Though you did miss one. ‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman.’”

Caridad smiled to herself as the room started laughing. She just might win this election and hopefully find out what was going on at Tower Prep
