“Next on The Midnight Hour, we have a special guest with us. Once one of the most feared vampires in the, he’s now the head of a private detective agency. Our interview with Angel next.”
Kitty Norville switched off her mike as the local station as they went to a commercial break. Across from her, her guest for the night smiled. She returned it, trying to ignore the nervousness she always felt around vampires. Her inner wolf recognized a fellow predator. Seeing the blinking red light, she turned her mike back on with a relieved mental sigh.
“And we’re back.”

“Ah, Commander Summers, there you are.”
Buffy winced at the sound before slowly turning around. Looking down, she spied the current bane of her existence: HoloNet reporter Den Dhur. She had been trying to avoid him ever since his arrival on Felucia. He had managed to corner Obi-Wan and Anakin earlier for interviews and had been chasing her ever since.
“I told you, I’m not interested,” she answered, going straight to the point. She was tired, she was hot, and she really wasn’t in the mood to talk to a reporter.
“But it’s just a few...” the Sullustan began before Buffy shook her head.
“No, nope, and never gonna happen,” Buffy interrupted. “I’m not doing a interview.”
“That’s a shame, since I wanted to confirm that story General Skywalker shared.”
Buffy narrowed her eyes, thinking hard. There were far too many stories that Anakin could have shared, but that meant doing the damn interview to find out which one.
“What do you want to know?” she asked, forcing the words out, promising herself vengeance on Anakin for this. Dhur smiled, pulling out a recorder.
“What really happened when Obi-Wan Kenobi returned from the dead?”
Yep, Anakin was a dead man.
