I was dragged to the movie by a friend and then HAD to read the books, so I'm on quite the Percy Jackson kick right now...

“You can see the camp?” Percy said slowly.
Xander and Buffy exchanged confused glances, while Willow looked as if she’d just had a thought. It was left to Dawn to answer.
“Duh,” she said.
Annabeth frowned.
“Hey, before you take us to your leader, want to explain why you’re so surprised we can see you?” Dawn demanded.
Her patience was wearing thin. It wasn’t as if it had been her sister or the Scoobies’ idea to accidentally wash up on this beach after fighting a very cranky ancient water demon.
“Mortals aren’t supposed to be able to,” Annabeth replied shortly. “The Mist blocks you from seeing things properly. But for some reason it’s not working on any of you.”
Percy noticed that no one in the odd group seemed to bat an eyelid at being called ‘mortals’.
“By mortals, you mean normal humans, right?” Buffy asked.
“Pretty much,” Percy replied.
“Oh, well that explains it then. No normal humans here,” Dawn said, rolling her eyes at having to state the obvious.
“Hey!” Xander protested.
“She’s right, Xander. As often as you’ve been hit by the mojo or possessed, I think you left normal behind a while ago,” Willow told him.

Xander suppressed a snicker. He greatly appreciated the irony of the god of wine being essentially sent to rehab by Zeus. Even if ‘rehab’ for some reason involved running a summer camp for demigods that the Scoobies had inadvertently crashed. Dionysus- or Mr. D as he’d been introduced to them- looked peeved.
“Paul Johnson, why exactly are you interrupting my game over these four persons just as I was about to win?”
Percy squirmed uncomfortably. Xander noted that unlike the various half-bloods wandering around, Mr. D hadn’t called them ‘mortals’. Maybe Willow’s read on the situation was right.
Mr. D gave him a look like he knew exactly what Xander was thinking.
“Sir, they’re-“ Annabeth began, only to be cut off.
“Slayer, Key, witch, and… one who sees clearly. I’m not sure why exactly the two of you seem to think they wouldn’t be able to see through the Mist, much less why they’d be kept out at the border. The Slayer is entitled to stay in Cabin Eight, the witch in Hecate’s cabin. The Key can stay in whatever cabin she pleases.”
“What about me?” Xander asked cautiously.
“Are you sure you really want to know, boy?” Dionysus asked.
