Challenge: #97 - Golden Moments
Notes: Companion piece to Cold Flames and won't make much sense without.
Merlin hadn’t had any dreams, but the morning Arthur first saw the haze he knew things were about to change. He suddenly knew Gwen was just as different as he was, only in another way.
When she jumped over the flame he knew the time for secrets was over. He only hoped he was ready, Arthur was ready, and that the pretence would be done.
When the red headed woman looked into his eyes as they stood in a circle he could see all time stretched out before him and behind him, glowing gold like the flames.
They were ready.
