Summary: Keiko O'Brien had always thought those stories were legends.

Keiko O'Brien noticed the signs when her daughter became a teenager: the increased stamina, speed, and strength that appeared out of nowhere. Keiko had always dismissed the stories her mother had told her, but now that she was seeing them with her own eyes, she wasn't so sure. Fortunately, Miles had yet to notice anything out of the ordinary.

"Mom, what's going on with me?" Molly asked one day after accidently breaking a vase, her eyes filled with worry.

Keiko brushed the hair out of her daughter's face. "Into every generation," she began, telling her daughter the legend of The Slayer.

Oh, interesting. How does Keiko know the stories? Are there vampires on DS9? Lovely little drabble!

Thanks! I was thinking that Keiko's mother knew about the Slayer, and told Keiko about her at one point. As for vampires on DS9, that certainly would be interesting ;)
