challenge #93: mistaken identity

How is it possible that I haven't yet run a "mistaken identity" challenge? Well, here it is. Write exactly 100 or 200 words about your chosen Buffy or Angel-verse character(s) being mistaken for someone else, or vice versa. Use your imaginations. Any crossover is welcome, but please post each drabble behind a cut, and tag your posts appropriately.

Have fun, and remember, all drabbles posted here until March 10 count toward your 2010 Mod Birthday Competition total! Happy writing!

Added. Had never heard of it before-- looks like it aired my senior year of high school, when my parents had charge of the TV-- but I see why you chose it from the actor list!

It was actually Anthony Stewart Head who got me watching Buffy. And David McCallum who got me watching VR.5. 8-)

As techno-SF, VR.5 was pathetic because they didn't know their stuff. As Fantasy-Noir, it was awesome. I suspect that it failed after 13 episodes because it was marketed to the wrong audience.
