summary: SG-1 arrived too late. Daniel was married to the statue, only she suddenly wasn’t a statue anymore.
Completed Ceremony:
The entire ceremony Daniel was sure his team would rush into save him, the only problem was the last moment was fast approaching and SG-1 seemed nowhere in sight. He stared up at the statue he was being married to and tried to give the natives one last pleading look.
They gave him a stool.
He glanced at their weapons, looked around hopefully and when no rescue came he sighed. He stepped onto the stool and laid a quick kiss on the statue’s lips, sealing their marriage.
As he stepped down the statue began to crack. Light shone through the cracks and bits of rock began to fall away. Daniel stumbled back as his team suddenly came rushing into save him. He yelled at them to stop as the tumbling rocks revealed a woman. She sank to the ground.
He rushed towards his new wife, cradling her into his arms, fascinated.
“Hi,” he greeted.
“Hi,” she repeated looking confused, “How did…where…I’m Tara.”
“Daniel.”
“Marrying her to a person from her home planet was the only way to release our goddess,” the priest who had married them revealed.
“She’s from Earth?” Jack asked.
“It’s okay,” Daniel told her, “You’re going home.”

summary: Why were they getting married again? Dean has to know.
This Is Why:
Dean glanced at the priest’s antlers and shuddered at the goo dripping from them. He leaned over and asked Connor, “Why are we doing this again?”
“Because I’m The Destroyer.”
“Oh, yeah,” Dean glared, “I don’t really need protecting.”
“Look around the room.”
He didn’t have to, the room was full of demons.
“They’re not just going to let me walk out of here.”
“They’re going to, you’re married to me now,” Connor insisted before he kissed his husband. Dean groaned, those kisses were reason enough to marry Connor. If they got out of here alive they deserved a honeymoon.
