THIS IS THE SIGNUP POST. If your name was in the winners list for the previous post? This is where you comment to specify your request.

Here are your instructions:

1. Pick one (1) or two (2) fandoms from the list below.
2. Name one (1) character or one (1) pairing of any type, friendship/romantic/familial/whatever.
3. Give me a brief prompt. If you have to think about whether it's brief? Trust me, it's not.

You may specify "do not includes" also, but try to keep the list short; and I reserve the right to negotiate with you about details if you ask for something that hits my squick list.

Do you mean season 8 as in just post-Chosen somehow? Or do you mean season 8 as in the comics? Because I'm not up to date on those.

Nevermind, this one will be easier to write; I'm a lot firmer on Ronon's characterization than I am Keller's. But I may still keep the kernel of the other idea for another spinoff in the "Ring of the Gods" universe. =)

I have thought and thought, and I have decided that what I would like to request a new, separate request for this year, and keep last year's "Beth Carter" request as a separate request.

The new request I would like is a continuation of the "Starting Over" series, the one where Wesley joins SG1.

Depending how the stories go, I wouldn't mind if you swapped the word-counts or juggled them, if you find that being more flexible is easier.

Oh, good; I really do want to write the Beth Carter one. I have to rewatch some Season 2 SG-1 first, though.

And hey, new "Starting Over"-verse gives me a very good excuse to dig out my borrowed copy of Angel Season 4, also. ♥ Good choices.

Ditto for the offer of a birthday fic, I'll write any of the first seven fandoms in the above TV list, or any movie, Marvelverse, Harry Potter. I'm happy to write insane crack if you want it (for eg I wrote a Jay 'n Silent Bob/Pinky & The Brain once).

Oooo. I know exactly when I'd want to set that, too; after Collateral Damage and Bigger Worlds, when Greg goes to the SGC for orientation. Would that work for you?

As for the Birthday fic-- how about CSI trying to clean up after any of the Stargate episodes that caused chaos on Earth? =) Alternatively, Harry Potter wandering into any of the aforementioned shows that are non-Buffyverse, as cracky as you like.

Hm. I would love to see more of your Buffy/Nick series but if that's not ok to request, then Buffy and/or Dawn in any of the following would be wonderful: Firefly/Serenity, CSI(Vegas), Star Trek:TNG, Batman Begins-verse. If you'd prefer I be more specific, I can try, but I'm generally not good at coming up with specific prompts.

In the Department of you-never-know-if-you-don't ask, is NCIS an eligible fandom?

If so, NCIS/Pirates of the Caribbean -- something with DiNozzo, I should think, as that would give him a lot of chances for movie-shtick.

If not, then Trek(TNG)/Pirates. Ideally with Lwaxana Troi, but we'll negotiate if need be.

NCIS always runs at conflicting times for me, unfortunately, and I don't own any kind of DVR equipment or have access to a friend with DVDs. One day I'd like to catch up, given how many of my flist like the show, but it hasn't happened yet.

As for TNG... *rubs chin thoughtfully* I may have to borrow my brother's DVDs to refresh my memory, but I'll see if I can make it work. That hsa the potential to be a highly entertaining cross.

I've been hacking away at a sequel to See For Yourself, actually, which I wrote for you back in May of '07, with Dawn and 'Nick', aka Clone!Daniel. Is that acceptable?

As for me; some flavor of Daniel-goes-to-Atlantis-and-stays fic, optional inclusion of a Buffyverse character? Whatever inspires you. And, thanks. =)

... That could be.... Maybe if the Saints were after some criminal in particular, and McClane got caught up in the events... *drifts off into thought*

If that doesn't inspire... something with the Dresden Files, maybe? I think there were a few years of canonical overlap between the DF book series and Buffy, where someone (probably not in the group) could have called Harry in to investigate some supernatural event or other?
