Summary: Tony frets over an unknown anniversary.
Tony suspiciously eyed the brightly wrapped present sitting on his dining room table. “What's the occasion?”
Buffy sidled up beside him. “One year anniversary.”
He frowned as his brain feverishly ran dates through his head. Nothing stood out as momentous enough to warrant an actual gift that they hadn't already celebrated. “Never pictured you as one of those girls.”
“What type of girl is that?”
“The one that celebrates the small stuff – like the first time we ever saw each other,” he prompted.
“And I'm not.”
He pulled out his best pout, the one he knew she couldn't resist. “Then what are we celebrating?”
“Oh no, none of that. You want to know? You open the gift.”
Tony carefully picked up the box and shook it causing a dull thud. Unable to guess it's contents he ripped off the wrapping like a kid and opened the box. His jaw dropped. “It's Mr. Pointy.”
“Yup. Your first anniversary of staking a vampire despite your fears, saving me and Abby in the process. Something that deserves to be remembered and celebrated,” she said, going up on her toes to kiss him.
