1. Highlander
Buffy didn’t know why Giles had wanted to stopover in Paris, he had just muttered something about ‘personal business’. She was even more intrigued when they arrived at a small chapel in the heart of the city, but she didn’t say a word to Giles.
They walked to a gravestone, which bore the simple inscription Father Darius, requiem im pace, Giles pulled out a single lily from his jacket and placed it on the stone. Buffy realised with shock he was crying.
“Was he a friend?” she asked quietly. Giles nodded.
“He was the most virtuous man I’ve ever met.”
2. NCIS
Gibbs knew that patience was a virtue, and that it was one he did not have in abundance, but Xander was beginning to test his to its limits. The young man had told him he was a trained carpenter, with years of experience in construction. But for the last ten minutes Xander had been all fingers and thumbs, incapable of a simple task.
At first Gibbs had been amused he made Xander nervous, but they were working on his boat and it wasn’t funny anymore. Finally Gibbs shouted,
“For pity’s sake, give me the damn vice, I’ll clamp it myself.”
3. XMen
Emma Frost turned around to pick up a folder from the desk, and Willow took the opportunity to enjoy the scenery. Miss Frost was barely dressed in a cropped, low cut top and tight white leather pants that left nothing to the imagination. The curve of her hips had Willow thinking very naughty thoughts. Emma turned back to her and smiled.
“My virtue is not that easy, Miss Rosenberg,” she said, but her smile was full of sin.
Willow flushed a deep scarlet and cursed herself for forgetting Emma was a telepath. She’d have to watch her thoughts in future.
