THIS IS THE SIGNUP POST. If your name was in the winners list for the previous post? This is where you comment to specify your request.

Here are your instructions:

1. Pick one (1) or two (2) fandoms from the list below.
2. Name one (1) character or one (1) pairing of any type, friendship/romantic/familial/whatever.
3. Give me a brief prompt. If you have to think about whether it's brief? Trust me, it's not.

You may specify "do not includes" also, but try to keep the list short; and I reserve the right to negotiate with you about details if you ask for something I just can't write. (Such as NC-17 material, or incest, or Buffy/Angel, or drastic OOC).

Also: instead of following the above request procedure, you may ask for a sequel/series entry to one of my previous works (which you can find here); but you may not ask for new chapters of one of my longfic WIPs.

If I could, I would love a BtVS/SG1 Willow/Teal'c romantic story of how they meet and/or fall in love. I think its a fun pairing and they isn't enough of it.

I thought about leaving it totally open like last year, then thought of trying to match chapter sizes to random word-earnings, and decided the longfics were better left off the table. It's not as if I'm not going to continue those anyway, sooner or later. =)

Hmmm...let's see...I'd love, love, love something from either Firefly or Star Trek:TNG (or maybe a crossover between the two?).
If you go with Firefly, I'd like something with Wash, if Star Trek, I'd like something with Data :)

Hm. I'll have to think about it. It probably won't be a crossover; the universes are pretty incompatible, and I have trouble getting past that. But I've written both Wash and Data individually before; I should be able to come up with something fun. =)

Seriously though, if I wasn't writing these? I'd be signing up for other ficathons. Some of my best work has come out of other people's challenges, and I have fun doing it.

Hi. :) I'd like a BTVS/SG-1 crossover with either Tara or Dawn and I'll think I'll just go with my standard prompt of someone making a comic book reference, if that's okay?

And I'd still like to write a fic for you, it is/was your birthday after all. I know btvs, ats, sg1, sga, power rangers, torchwood, new doctor who, harry potter and x-men so let please let me know what I can write for you. :)

Oooo. Do you know, the only reason I didn't continue that one immediately was because I was intimidated by the idea of having to come up with the rest of the prophecy? =) Guess I'll have a good excuse now.

And-- wow, so many people offering to write me fic in return, makes me smile. Of course you know what pairing I'm going to ask for in return. *grin* How about more of the axe murderer storyline? Or the favorite things one?

OK, for my request...hmmm... Die Hard 4/CSI (Vegas) with a John McLean/Catherine Willows pairing. Something along the lines of they're oozing with chemistry but both of 'em are fighting off their mutual attraction. Kinda hard to explain, but if you're familiar with the leads from the 80s series Moonlighting or the Scully/Mulder relationship where they flirt and all but still butt heads, that type of thing. I hope I didn't confuse you with this prompt! :LoL:

Hmm, I'm thinking of a crossover....

How about a Buffy/Harry Dresden fic - can be friends or pairing, you decide, and it can be either book or tv, I'm happy with either. There's just not enough of that cross out there, so I'm all for it. As for a prompt, I'd definitely like something fluffy with a bit of substance to it.

Oh, that'll be fun to write. Harry's a very interesting, complicated character, and so's she; and yet, the first thing I think when I put them in the same room is "awwww". Um. If I use any book elements, do you have spoiler concerns? I'm going to be picking up Small Favor this week as soon as it hits shelves, and I have two of the three short stories as well, which I know many people don't.

I seriously don't know which one to pick. I'm totally distracted by all three of those universes, especially TF2007; and neither Az nor Constantine get enough love from my flist. We'll see what I can come up with.

I understand what you mean about Cain/DG, too. They're my OTP for that 'verse, but I had to unsubscribe from the comms a couple of months ago from sugar and drama overload and haven't gone back since.

Well, everyone has different amounts of words to request, and each of my longfics have different semistandard chapter sizes; it seemed prudent to remove that trainwreck in the making from the list. And it's not like I don't plan to continue BAH anyway. =)

Sorry about the broken links; every so often I go back and collect related stories onto a series-page. I should have re-used the URL of the first story but didn't think of it this time.

Nope, it doesn't count as a WIP; it's more a series of linked flashfic, which means I have a little more flexibility with chapter length and plot threading. I'll be happy to contribute more of it. =)

I would like: a Buffy/CSI cross, a sequel to either your Sara-as-Slayer ficlet (maybe Grissom finding out?) or something from your Grissom-as-Buffy's-real-Dad universe. If either of those don't work for some reason, how about Batman Begins: Jim Gordon, clean and dirty.

Ooo. I don't know which one interests me more. I'm glad CSI starts back up this week; refresh my mind on the characters a little.

If you want to write me something-- oh, I don't know what to pick! Star Wars, maybe? Something Luke-centric.

Plotwise-- I stopped reading the EU a couple of years before the NJO series, so I don't know if they ever dealt with it the books, but I'd love to see Luke finding out more about Obi-Wan's and Anakin's career as Jedi, and what he'd make of it; how it would affect him. (Whether Jedi stuff, or holocoverage, whatever; surely it can't have all been erased during the time of the Empire.)
