“You eat this every morning,” Buffy asked, wrinkling her nose at Bridge’s dish. He smiled and nodded, raising his eyebrows as he took a mouthful of the food from his plate.

“It’s jiggily,” he explained, offering a bit to her, his fingers waving slightly to reiterate his point. Offering a bit to her, he added. “And green. Jiggily and green.”

“You’re really weird,” she said, shaking her head at him as she took a bite of her food, leaving him to shrug and continue eating his morning jello, not at all bothered by the face she made at the food.

Willow tapped her foot incessantly, bouncing in her seat as she grinned at Buffy. “Isn’t this neat? We’re in an alternate universe, one that superheroes protect the world, dressed in spandex, and there aren’t any vampires or ghouls or other things that go bump in the night to keep us from enjoying the accidental spell, which isn’t as bad as any of the other mess ups I’ve had, like when I accidentally brought a vampire double – “

Her voice was suddenly muffled as Buffy put her hand over Willow’s mouth, her gaze turning to glare at the group of teenagers sitting with them. “Okay, who gave her coffee? She only gets this hyper when she has some kind of super cappacino.”

A small eep came from the boy dressed in red at the end of the table as he blushed fiercely under her gaze, his face matching his shirt. “Yeah, sorry about that. She looked tired and I thought the coffee would help her wake up.”

Buffy sighed, removing her hand from Willow’s mouth and allowed Willow to continue to babble, unaware of Buffy’s exasperation. “Well, it worked. Hope all of you have a lot of time on your hands.”

Today was not a normal day.

A normal day did not involve finding oneself in a different body, dressed up in a weird costume, and staring up at a floating head in a tube that was talking to her.

“So you’re saying that Kimberly’s mind has accidentally been switched into your body and vice-versa,” the one in blue asked, readjusted his glasses to keep them from sliding down his face. “That scenario sounds very familiar to the accident mind-switch that Kimberly and I experienced many months ago. You say this occurred by magical means?”

Sighing, Buffy nodded, running her hand through her – through Kimberly’s hair as she looked up at him. The least Willow could have done was switch me with someone taller. Can’t I be tall for once.

“We shall wait here then, until your friend is able to contact us, so that we may get Kimberly back in once piece,” the talking head replied. Buffy nodded dubiously at him…it. “Rangers, the rest of you need to get back to the battle, and hope that we do not need the Megazord.”

“Right,” the agreed and teleported out in multi-colored streaks of light.

Today was definitely not a normal day.
