Buffy and Dawn settled down for a long night of talking and catching up. Since Buffy had been in Seattle and Dawn in London for the past year, they had a lot of catching up to do. As it was a cold night, they had agreed on having a fire, toasting marshmallows and having smores.

As the night wore on, they could hear muffled sounds coming from the penthouse apartment just above them. Knowing that Buffy’s neighbor, Logan Cale kept odd hours; the two just shook it off. Not realising the noise was actual gun fire as his burglar escaped.
