Summary: The end of Buffy and Cameron’s date.
Coffee and Spice
Cameron paused just long enough to give her time to refuse before his lips descended completely on hers. Her lips parted beneath his, inviting him in. Their tongues tentatively danced together as they shared their first kiss. He kept the contact light as if he were afraid she would suddenly decide this was not for her.
Buffy could still faintly taste the rich coffee that he had had with his dessert under what she could only describe as uniquely Cam. It was spicy and all male. Desire pooled low in her belly as she deepened the kiss, thirsting for more.
More Contact
Buffy could feel Cam’s warm breath as his lips ghosted over her neck, causing shivers to run down her spine. His nose gently brushed against her jaw before his teeth nipped lightly at the skin there. Strong hands slid under her lacy top seeking bare skin. His calloused fingers turned to velvet as they caressed her back. Her own hands alternated between moving restlessly over his body and clutching him tight.
She pressed closer to him, needing more contact. Her body calling out its need for the man holding her. Telling her it was more than okay to want this.
A Symphony
Buffy’s mind whirled as her world coalesced into a series of sounds that filled her with surprise. Every gasp and moan that Cam muttered as her hands explored his body. Her throaty whines as he sought out her most sensitive spots. Their discarded clothing softly landing on the floor beside them. Cam’s breath low and raspy in her ear. The soft whispering of the sheets as they lay down upon them. Every time her breath hitched because he nipped at her bared skin, then soothed it.
Together they built to a crescendo to create a symphony unique to the moment.
Held
“Look at me,” his voice softly commanded.
Buffy’s eyes fluttered open to look up at Cam as her body rose to meet with his. She could see his skin flushed with his desire for her. For a moment, her gaze followed the winding trek of a bead of sweat running down the side of his face.
Hazel eyes locked with blue ones. She saw something flicker deep within them, piercing through her. Something she didn’t want to think about. He held her gaze as their bodies rushed towards completion, refusing to let her break even that small amount of contact.
Not Alone
With a soft sigh Buffy awoke to find herself alone in the large bed she and Cam had shared the night before. Her chest squeezed painfully for a moment until she recognized the smell of bacon frying wafting in through the door. Then sounds of Cam puttering around the kitchen reached her ears and she relaxed, the pain in her chest easing as well. He seemed the type to pamper and she would let him do that to his little heart’s content. She pulled his pillow close and happily inhaled his spicy scent as she drifted back off to sleep.

Date: 2008-03-04 08:55 am (UTC)Nice use of the senses. Not much fleshing out of Cameron's character-- you could swap him with virtually any human male from any fandom without altering very much-- but otherwise well written.
These make 18/6!
