Teyla sat with Faith in the commissary; they were getting to know each other since they would be in contact regularly. After Faith had given her spiel on what a Slayer was Teyla gasped.

“It is said amongst my people, that there will come a time when the Wraith will awaken fully and when all looks bleak, a chosen warrior will come. The warrior will carry a child that is both of the Wraith and of the Athosian. The balance of the world will be dependant on the path of the child.”

“Damn, that’s one pretty full on legend. But you realise, they aren’t talking about me…” Faith said.

“But are you not this Slayer you spoke to me of?” Teyla asked.

“I am, but here’s the thing… so are you,” Faith replied.

“How is that even possible?” Telya enquired.

“Well, the thing is. No one would have seen this one coming… except maybe your people,” Faith continued. “You see, we never thought there were Slayers on other planets, so when Willow activated the potentials, it activated them all. That includes you. But so far, you are the only one we know of being this far out of our galaxy.”
