#010 - Vacation
It was a vacation.
A much-needed, restful vacation free of vampires, demons, and other creatures that went bump in the night.
Unfortunately, Angel Grove was the wrong choice.
Buffy grimaced as she wiped the purple ooze from her fist. Her glare moved from her fist to a puddle of ooze in front of her, the puddle having once been an ooze-composed creature.
“Go to Angel Grove, they said,” she muttered. “It’ll be restful, they said. Guess they forgot the weekly appearance of space aliens and people wearing multicolored costumes. In spandex. At least a Slayer gets to wear stylish shoes.”

#021 – Starting School
Taking a deep breath Dawn forced herself step forward.
I can do this, she thought, making her way to the Principal’s office, wishing she wasn’t transferring in the middle of the first semester. I fought Uber-vampires. I lived through a war. School can’t be as bad!
“Except I could be a total outcast,” she muttered darkly, stopping at the office and about to knock when alarms echoed loudly through the hall. She yelped, putting her hands over her ears, eyes moving frantically. Streams of students moved passed her, heading towards one end of the school.
“C’mon,” a voice behind her said, grabbing her forcefully by the arm. “You’d better get to the gym. There’s a monster attack.”
“Guh?” Dawn managed as she flowed with the crowd, mind in complete disarray.
Suddenly, out of the crowd, a boy with brown hair wearing a shock of red appeared, grabbing her savior by the arm. “Kira, c’mon! We gotta go!”
With a smile, and parting words of “I’ll see you later,” the girl, Kira, was gone. Dawn sighed as she entered the gym, standing by herself as people crowded into different sections. Monster attack. God, can’t I ever go to a normal school?

#023 – Rubber Duckies
Willow had to remind herself to breath.
It wasn’t everyday that she saw her favorite rubber ducky necklace turned into a giant duck monster. The rubber duck necklace Xander had given to her as penance for stealing her Barbie. The one that she didn’t wear much anymore, as much as she loved it, because she would be in high school soon and was already incredibly uncool as it was.
Gulping as she stared at the giant Duck monster now being attacked by a giant zord, she decided she didn’t need the necklace anymore.
The Power Rangers could have it now.

#029 – Legends
Buffy tapped her foot, rolling her head back to stare at the ceiling as she waited for Willow to track her down. She hated when missions went wrong. Like now.
Now she found herself stuck in 3000, in a place with weird technology and creatures.
The door opened and she stood, hands on her hip menacingly as four people walked in, dressed in uniforms. The green-haired one shrunk back from her glare, though one woman stepped forward, a trace of awe on her face.
“You’re the Slayer.” she said, surprising the menace out of Buffy. “The Legendary Slayer that saved the Earth and used the Scythe to make Potentials into full blown Slayers?”
Buffy latched onto one word. “Legend?”
“When space creatures began living on Earth, the Watcher’s Council explained the existence of vampires and told us their history. Even today, there are Slayers that trek into the ravaged environment to fight vampires,” the woman explained.
Stuck on the Legend part, Buffy said, “So I’m pretty cool here.”
“Well if Jen’s in awe, then you must be,” the man with sunglasses said dryly, earning an elbow in the ribs.
I’m a legend, huh? I can’t wait to see Faith’s look!
