Josh had said, "Go find the files," as though they were somewhere in a pile on his desk.

Grumbling, she began the walk back from OEOB two hours later, a bundle of papers under each arm. Dust rose up from the decades-old documents, and she sneezed, tripping in the process and letting some folders slip out of her grip.

"Crap!" she said out loud, stooping over to pick them up. As she did, she glanced at one of the headings. It read "DRI," and she noticed the words "Demon Research Initiative" on a sheet sticking out of the folder. "Huh," she muttered, "Must be a DARPA thing." With that, she put it out of her mind.

Donna was in and out of consciousness after the bombing, but she clearly heard the words "some sort of supernatural attack" on the news more than once.

Finally, she felt well enough to speak. "Josh," she whispered, her voice cracking and parched. "Find the OEOB files. Demon... initiative."

Josh was puzzled, but the effort was all she had in her, and she fell back to sleep. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Toby, intent on finding out just what she meant.
