Challenge: #72: Forgotten and Remembered

Summary: He’d been gone from her life for so long that she almost forgot what he looked like…
Thank God that wasn’t the case!
The last time she saw him was the year before she left for Hogwarts. She was nervous as hell and she remembered him comforting her, reassuring her that everything will be alright. She was a smart girl and everyone in her new school would appreciate her talent.
She remembered him wearing nothing but tweed-like suits; very librarianish of him. But that persona of his was what comforted her and made her through the rest of the summer after receiving her Hogwarts letter.
Now here she stood at airport in Cleveland waiting for him to pick her up and take her to meet his family – his American family whom he’d been living with since he left England.
Hermione scanned the crowd once again then smiled when she saw him.
“Uncle Giles!” she waved frantically at the tall Englishman wearing round specks.
Rupert Giles turned at the sound of the voice and a proud smile spread over his handsome face.
EDIT: OK, I found myself inspired while at work (and it's due us having a slow day here at work hence why I managed to finish a couple of drabbles for this challenge).

Summary: Could a long ago stolen kiss help her out?
WHAT WAS THAT FOR?” Faith asked after they broke apart.
Nick Stokes’ eyes were hooded and still focused on the brunette Slayer’s pouty lips. “I don’t know,” he answered honestly. He tore his gaze from her tempting lips and met her wide-eyed stare. “But I sure as heck want to have more,” he admitted, his voice thick with desire.
That stolen kiss – and the one that followed shortly after – happened nearly two years ago. She was in Vegas on holiday with the rest of the Scoobies. This time, however, she back in Vegas on assignment.
A series of headless corpses kept on cropping up in
“You paged me,” Nick Stokes approached the reception desk.
“Over there,” the petite blonde pointed at Faith’s direction.
Nick followed the receptionist’s finger, his face registering recognition as soon as Faith stood up, cocked her hip to the side and pulled her mouth to an all too familiar grin.
