"Don't forget about me, Veronica," Lilly said.

"I could never," Veronica replied, tears welling in her eyes.

Willow didn't want to make Veronica break her promise, but she had no choice. Lilly's death fit not one, but three apocalyptic prophecies. The only sure way to stop them from coming true was to make sure that no one knew enough to take the next step.

She folded away the Orlon Window in her palm, and Veronica Mars awoke from a dreamless sleep.

Veronica was puzzled when, seemingly of its own accord, her hand scribbled "Lilly?" in the corner of her notebook.

Never watched any Veronica Mars, but-- interesting.
