Title: One Little Tidbit
Word Count: 100
Fandom: CSI
-------------------------------------------
Greg remembered growing up. The mom, the younger sister, the truck load of pets, and the dad planning all the vacations. His dad was awesome. He was always willing to help with English homework or buy him a CD when he was younger. His dad was also really good at keeping his mom from being too weird. And it wasn’t very often that he remembered this one little tidbit about his dad. But Greg had a feeling he wasn’t going to be forgetting anymore.
“I’m looking for Greg Sanders.”
“And who are you?” The receptionist asked.
“Ethan Rayne. His dad.”

end
Title: Five Hundred Years
Word Count: 100
Fandom: Firefly
---------------------------------------
Five hundred years since he had fought another demon. Five hundred years since he had fought beside a slayer. Five hundred years since he had experienced any real fear.
But in one second it all came back as a girl of about 16 danced as she fought her way around in a bar. And for a second Spike thought to get up and join the fight until his eyes locked with hers and he remembered the name of a slayer he had tried so hard to forget. One that never failed to make a shiver run down his spine.
Dana.

Date: 2008-02-05 01:49 am (UTC)I don't really watch enough CSI for to make a lot of connections with fic, but it seemed to work pretty well. Ethan was a twist I wasn't expecting.
And Spike/River... I can see him being a little skittish around her.

And yeah, River would totally creep Spike out. Unless he connected her with Drusilla instead of Dana? =)
