His grin was dark and vicious; absolutely psychotic.

Hers was just as gleeful, equally predatory and bloodthirsty.

He was a creature of stark colors—true, light consuming black, skin so white, snow paled in comparison—garbed in violent, bloody shades.

She was a being of light, golden hair and skin kissed by the sun, life—in all its ferocious glory—was her mantle.

They danced; each movement fast, brutal and inhumanly strong.

As soon as their engagement began, it ended.

The hunters withdrew.

A tie.

“I had forgotten,” Alucard murmured to the moon, “what it is to fight a Slayer.”

Oooo. I don't know the fandom, but I appreciate the sentiment; well done.

(I wrote something similar a few years back; a Buffy vs. Riddick shortfic called "Instinctual").

Thanks! I'm glad it came across reasonably well to someone who isn't familiar with the fandom.

(And it's very schway! Even though I'm not familiar with Riddick you definitely get that sense of common predators and the stuff that goes with it.)

Hee! The vampire enjoys his violence though I definitely think he could take her if he didn't have the seals [if she had her scoobies, that would be a different thing].
