Word Count: 200
Willow’s magic-proof netting would have been a nice touch, if it would have caught a vampire. Instead it had held two confused wizards struggling to free themselves when Buffy returned.
Their eyes turned, suspicion turning into surprise as the net suddenly opened, depositing them unceremoniously onto the ground.
“Geez, give a girl a heart attack,” she sighed, her eyes bright with innocence. “Here I am, taking a nice peaceful stroll…”
“Through the Forbidden Forest, full of vampires, acromantula, and other beasties?” the red-headed wizard said dryly, glancing over to his lightning-scar bearing companion in disbelief.
“The trees were pretty?” Buffy suggested.
“Are you the Slayer that came with the Wiccan?” Harry Potter asked.
She stared at him blankly. “The what? I think you’ve got me confused. I’m just a regular American girl.”
“That’s unfortunate,” Harry said, disappointed. “We really wanted her opinion on that weapon…”
“Oh, the SLAYER!” she exclaimed, perking up at the word ‘weapon’. “I thought you said…Sleeper. I’m the Slayer. The original one, not one of the boring carbon copies. Weapons?”
“Hermione was right,” Ron said ruefully as they headed to the castle to grab the aforementioned weapon. “Bring up a weapon to out a Slayer. Wicked.”
So, my first entry to this lovely community! Hope anyone who reads this enjoys.
