“M-maybe you should just pull over and let me…“ Not able to finish as Buffy’s body was flung forward, stopping only when the seat belt locked. Her breathing was ragged and green eyes widened as she looked at how close they had come to causing an accident. “Gods, you drive like Spike - drunk!”
Alex winced at her outburst. “Now c’mon darling, you’re having fun.” His voice was steady and calm as his hand-shifted gears, engine roared as they jetted past the black Alero.
Fuming Buffy folded her arms across her chest before mumbling, “Fun was five near-death experiences ago.”
