Oz was running through the sewers as fast as he could. Cain was maybe 50 feet behind him. The werewolf turned down another tunnel and barely missed being hit by a silver bullet. He couldn’t waste time trying to climb back up to the surface. Didn’t know why he had gone into the sewers in the first place. Well he wasn’t thinking to clearly, just wanted to get Cain away from the boy werewolf. Oz knew Cain would chase him instead.
He turned to look behind him so that he completely missed the figure in front of him. Oz ran into him and bounced back. “Watch where you’re going kid.” A guy with a Brooklyn accent said. He was wearing a trench coat and a hat, but Oz stared at his feet. They were green. Okay maybe not guy, maybe demon. “What the hell you doing in the sewer?” The demon asked.
At this point Cain showed up. The demon took one look at Cain pointing his gun at Oz and disarmed him before knocking him out. The hunter didn’t even get a shot off. The demon’s hat had fallen off. The demon looked like… a big green turtle.
“Huh.”
