He's been close to dying before, but it's never felt quite like this. This time his Dad is long gone and Sammy is looking worse than he is. There's no one left but them to get their asses out of this fucked-up job.
The cops are coming for him from one direction and a bunch of Hunters for Sam from another. They’re closing in too damn fast and he can’t reach the gun just beyond his fingertips.
Then she appears, glowing white hair ruffling in a breeze that isn't there. And suddenly they're not there anymore and there's no pain.
