Hermione jumped back as the startled looking vampire in front of her burst into dust. Then something in the air alerted her, and she spun around, wand at the ready.
"Incendio!" she shouted.
The vampire burst into flames, then to dust.
In the suddenly quiet London alley, Hermione looked at her companion, unable to keep a grin off her face. "I got them!" she said excitedly.
Faith rolled her eyes. "What do you want, a cookie?" she demanded. "Come on, vamps to dust. The night's young."
Hermione let herself be pulled along. Wait until Harry and Ron heard about this.
