notes: Set aboard the Good Ship Spuffy, sailing into Saint Louis.
"Something's following us," Buffy whispered.
Anita nodded. "Vampire."
"So?"
Anita raised her shotgun. "We are vampire hunters."
Buffy spun around. The next second, the vampire was on the ground.
"Watch the coat, Slayer!"
Buffy's stake stopped an inch above his heart. "Spike?"
"You know him?" Anita demanded.
Buffy jumped up. "Why are you here?"
Spike staggered to his feet. "Nibblet was worried."
"Your boyfriend tagged along?" Anita growled.
"He's not my boyfriend!"
Spike gave Buffy a look. "That's not what you said yesterday."
"Shut up."
"Make me."
Anita scowled. "We've got to move."
Spike called after them, "No goodbye kiss?"
