If you've played before, you know how this works; since
tthdrabbles tends to be a little slow in the winter (especially when I've been too busy to regularly post challenges) I'm going to throw the comm's third annual fic fest, complete with prizes.
The rules are simple. Write as many drabbles for the challenges here as you can, between now and my birthday. That's March 10th, more than five weeks away. And for every author who writes six or more drabbles-- that's only one a week!-- I will write a minimum of 1,000 words of fiction in my fandoms, crossover or not, centered on any character you choose. And there's more. For every drabble you write over the six-drabble limit, I will add 100 words to that minimum value.
(Yes, I'm perfectly aware that I still have reward fic outstanding from last year's challenge; I had severe RL troubles last year which affected my writing. My goal for the challenge writing period, while all y'all are deluging me with drabbles, is to finish up what's left to clear the decks for new rewardfic.)
I'll post the new challenge, the first of the Mod Birthday Drabblefest, in a moment; in the meanwhile, I'd just like to rec again all of the wonderful birthday stories that were written specifically for me last year by fest participants after the Drabblefest closed:
• A New Player in Town by
butterflyflame (BtVS/Anita Blake, Oz-fic, 1000 words)
• Stonewalling by
kayleyangel (SG-1/Bones, ensemble, 1000 words)
• Favorite Things by
avamclean (BtVS/SG-1, Buffy/Daniel, 1000 words)
• Brewing by
kerravonsen (BtVS/HP, Snape/Anya, 1070 words)
• Are You My Mummy? by
ladyyueh (Batman/Mummy, Bruce, 734 words)
If you haven't read them yet, please do; they deserve all praise. *grin*
