pro-verb (n): a brief popular epigram or maxim
You know the sayings-- "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush", "hunger is the best sauce", "all is fair in love and war", "when the cat is away the mice will play", "nothing ventured nothing gained", and so on. Pick one, and use it as a phrase or theme in a 100 or 200 word drabble. Be creative, and have fun!
Additionally, you may write for an FFA pairing on any topic-- the current count is 1646 ficlets, which means we need 361 more by the end of 2007.
