People playing card games? People playing board games? People playing mind games with one another? Someone using a chess piece as an impromptu weapon against the enemy? Use your imagination-- just make sure to involve some kind of game in some way.
Additionally, you may write for an FFA pairing on any topic-- the current count is 1453 ficlets, which means we need 554 more by the end of 2007.
