“Hermione, I could really use some help back here!” The muffled voice drifted out from the stacks.

“Hang on a sec,” the Hogwarts librarian replied.

There was a yelp, followed by swearing. “Now ‘Mione!”

“You know, for someone who has trained more Slayers than anyone in history, you are amazingly helpless sometimes,” she commented to her husband as she made her way to the restricted section.

Rupert Giles glared up at the witch from beneath a pile of snarling books.

“Are you going to stand there making quips, or are you going to help me up?”

“I’ll think about it.”
