“Many of the opponents you tell me your sister faced have strong similarities to the monsters of popular culture. This ‘Adam’, for instance, is much like the Frankenstein monster seen in films of a slightly earlier era.”
“Except Frankenstein’s monster was originally gentle. He turned evil after human cruelty drove him to it,” Dawn replied. “Some of the similarities are because popular culture drew on sources without realizing weren’t fiction. Dracula, for instance.”
“Dracula was real?” Data enquired.
“Oh, yeah. Is, actually. Buffy still stakes him every so often.”
