Title: Ranger School

Note: This takes place before Booth joins the FBI and just after Xander finished High School


Having had the memories of the solider from Halloween in his mind, Xander figured he’d be able to cope applying for the Air Force. The memories of the solider weren’t too happy with the concept of Xander being in the Chair Force but it was better than being a Jarhead Marine. Nothing was going to beat being in the Rangers for solider boy.

After contemplating it again, Xander gave in and applied to the Army with the hopes of becoming a Ranger. He preformed all the drills perfectly and adapted to the Army way of life very quickly. Over the years, he moved extremely close to his goal of joining the Rangers.

He impressed so much that one of the Ranger Snipers took him onboard and assisted him in achieving his goals. The only problem was that the Ranger looked a lot like Angel. The way that Major Seeley Booth looked almost put him off going any further but the solider wouldn’t allow him to pull out now.

Soon, the two of them would be found hunched over different weaponry. Booth teaching how to take them apart and fixing his targeting; so Xander would be ready when the time came.

Not sure the timeline works, but other than that, would certainly make for an interesting AU. (Might want to edit "solider" to read "soldier", though).
